President

Alisha Crebbin

Co-Chair: Rob Crebbin

The President’s and Co-Chair’s duties include but are not limited to being responsible for club leadership. They preside at board meetings and, along with board vice presidents, appoint chairs of committees, call special meetings, and act as a spokesperson for the association to the wider public. The President also assists the treasurer in preparation of the annual budget and acts as the “Master” on all bank accounts. The President and Co-chair set the agenda for the year.

VP of Tournaments and Education

Chuck Pixler

The VP’s duties include but are not limited to being responsible for setting up and overseeing any tournaments, jamborees, scrambles, leagues, clinics, and pickleball 101, 102, and 103. The VP can appoint committee chairs to help with accomplishing such goals. The VP and committee chairs seek board approval for all such activities (including the use of specialized tournament software) and report back to the board on all activities. The VP also organizes and oversees referee training.

VP of Strategic Planning

Tod Bankston

The VP’s duties include but are not limited to the building of additional pickleball courts and venues, current venue maintenance, and the fund raising for building and maintenance projects. The VP establishes working budgets for the upkeep and maintenance of venues. This VP appoints and works closely with the Venue Rep Chair and the Venue Reps at each location. He/she also oversees any fund-raising committee (such as the Blue Bag initiative).

VP of Growth and Development

Deborah Eicher-Catt

The VP’s duties include but are not limited to being responsible for the association membership including overseeing the maintenance of the master membership list, collecting dues, and making and distributing the yearly ID cards to members. This VP also oversees the association’s social calendar (in consultation with the social committee), the association’s website, the newsletter “What’s the Score?” and all internal communications such as announcements. This person acts as the “communicative link” among members, the board, and acting committees. He/she manages the volunteer work of the Membership Chair, the Social Committee, and the FB Manager as well coordinates website updates with the web developer.

Secretary

Donna Borror

This person’s duties include but are not limited to being responsible for preparing and maintaining minutes of membership and board meetings. He/she also assists the Membership Chair and VP of Growth & Development with maintaining the Google Groups master email list and assists the Treasurer with checking the association’s post office box for membership payments, etc. The secretary keeps on file all membership records and club minutes.

Treasurer

Jean Gleason

The treasurer’s duties include but are not limited to collecting dues and assessments and maintaining all financial records. The treasurer manages the association’s financial accounts and disburses all funds for association’s expenditures. The treasurer must provide a semi-annual written financial report to the membership. Along with the President and board, the treasurer prepares the association’s annual budget. The treasurer also provides financial information for the association’s audit, tax returns, and other governmental filings.

If you’d like to host a KBPA-sponsored jamboree, scramble, or tournament, please download and and fill out the application form below and submit it to the board for approval 2-4 weeks in advance. Be as specific as possible.
