A Big Thank You!

KBPA expresses a big THANK YOU to the close to 100 members who showed up for our annual Membership Mashup Meeting on Saturday, April 27 at Steens. It was KBPA’s official “changing of the guards” as we welcomed our newly-elected board members (Tod Bankston, Alisha and Rob Crebbin, and Donna Borror) and gave a big thank you to the outgoing board members for their dedicated service (Julianne Barrett, Barbara Jeanine, and Jerry Mendoza). In addition to the many members who took advantage of the new online membership renewal process at kbpickleball.com, almost 20 members renewed or joined at the meeting. Door prizes were given to some lucky winners and folks were treated to drinks and food from B&S Coffee. The morning was capped off by rounds of pickleball play where all ages and skills were “mashed up” for games of fun competition. This is a yearly event. If you missed it this year, join us next spring! It’s one of the many ways we celebrate our vibrant pickleball community.
